Our Beer


 

Draft Beer:

Guinness Stout (Ireland) - Every day more than 10 million glasses are enjoyed worldwide. Guinness is famous for its dark color, creamy head and unique surge and settle. Guinness stout its distinctive ruby color and slightly bitter taste.  ABV 4.1%


Smithwick’s (Ireland) - is Ireland’s number 1 selling ale. Smithwick’s is produced using the finest hops and special roasted, malted barley.  ABV 5.0%


Harp (Ireland) - Harp is brewed using golden barley and the choicest hops to give a smooth satisfying lager taste.  ABV 4.3%


Coors Light (Colorado) - Coors Light's unique frost-brewing process locks in a taste as cold as the Rockies. ABV 4.2%


Blue Moon (Colorado) - Blue Moon Belgian White is refreshing, medium-bodied, unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale spiced with fresh coriander and orange peel for a uniquely complex taste and an uncommonly smooth finish. The name "Belgian White" is a reference to the cloudy white, opaque appearance of the beer. "Belgian White" also refers to the style of beer, which has been brewed in Belgium for about 300 years. ABV 5.4%


Miller Lite (Milwaukee) - Miller Lite is the ultimate light beer, known for its inherent quality of great taste.  ABV 4.2%


Labatt Blue  (Canada) - Blue uses specially selected North American aromatic hops and the same strain of lager yeast as the one used to produce Labatt Blue. The result is a crisp, clean and delicately balanced beer, with a slight sweetness and citrus-like hop character. ABV 4.2%


Yuengling (Pennsylvania) - Brewed with roasted Carmel malts for a subtle sweetness combine this with a two hop combination promises a well balanced taste. ABV 4.5%


Sam Adams Boston Lager (Massachusetts) – Sam Adams is full bodied and complex.  Carmel and sweet balanced with distinct citrus and piney notes. ABV 4.9%


Sam Adams Seasonal (Massachusetts) – Sam Adams seasonal changes every four months.


Peroni (Italy) - The light, crisp European lager is produced using only the highest quality natural ingredients grown in Italy.  ABV 5.1%


Heineken (Netherlands) - 100% Barley malt, choice hops and pure water give this brew unsurpassed clarity.  ABV 5.0%


Amstel Light (Netherlands) - A special light beer containing 35% fewer calories than regular lager beer. Amstel is every bit as thirst-quenching and refreshing.  ABV 3.5%


New Castle (England) - Dark copper color with a nice tan head. This has sweet malty aroma with butter, caramel and brown sugar. Nice mellow malty flavor with sweet caramel and a gentle hop bitterness.  ABV 4.7% 


Wolfs 1-11 Lager (Utica, New York) -Brewed for us from our friends at Saranac this classic German lager has a perfect balance of caramel malt sweetness. Look for a rich, amber color and medium body ABV 5.5%


Ubu Ale (Lake Placid, New York) – Named for a legendary chocolate lab this ale features smooth rich maltiness complimented by the perfect amount of English hops. ABV 7.0%


Ommegang Abbey Ale (Cooperstown, New York) -This Belgium style brew gives off a variety of aromas, including plum and cinnamon, and packs in flavors such as caramel, toffee, and licorice. ABV 8.5%


Ithaca Apricot Wheat (Ithaca, New York) - Our easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body…perfect for those looking for a lighter taste.  The combination of wheat and barley gives Apricot Wheat a different malt character than our other ales. The hint of apricot gives this beer a pleasant nose and fruity finish.  ABV 4.9% 


Brooklyn Lager (Brooklyn, New York) - Brooklyn lager is a Vienna style beer that is amber gold in color and displays a firm malt center supported by fine bitterness and a floral hop aroma. ABV 5.2%


Old Saratoga IPA (Saratoga Springs, New York) – This is a hand crafted traditional west coast IPA, with a perfect balance of malts, blended with Cascade and Fuggles hops.  ABV 5.5%


Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA (Delaware) - 60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped - more than 60 hop additions over a 60 minute boil. 60 Minute is an India Pale Ale brewed with a slew of great Northwest hops. This is a powerful, but balanced East Coast I.P.A. with a lot of citrusy hop character. ABV 6.0%


Stone Arrogant Bastard (California) - "This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory - maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it's made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you're mouthing your words as you read this". ABV 7.2%


Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (California) - Sierra pale has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor. ABV 5.6%


Magic Hat #9 (Vermont) – Number 9 is a crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale.  ABV 4.6%


Harpoon IPA (Mass) - Harpoon IPA is an interpretation of the classic English style using hops and malt grown in the United States.  ABV 5.9%

 Big Bottles:

 

Brooklyn Local 1 (Brooklyn, New York)In Williamsburg, Brooklyn, they forge barley malt and hops from Germany, aromatic raw sugar from Mauritius and yeast from Belgium into our latest beer, Brooklyn Local 1. Behind the full golden color you'll find an alluring aroma, a dynamic complex of flavors. Belgian flair, Brooklyn fortitude and a dusting of our special yeast. To create this beer, we use the old technique of 100% bottle re-fermentation, a practice now rare even in Europe. It gives this beer a palate of unusual depth.  ABV 9.0%.

 

Brooklyn Local 2 (Brooklyn, New York) – Here in Brooklyn they have combined European malts, hops, Belgium dark sugar, and raw wildflower honey from a New York Family farm to create Local 2.  There special Belgium yeast adds hints of spice to the dark fruit, caramel and chocolate flavor.  ABV 9.0%.

 

Three Philosophers (Cooperstown, New York) – Created by blending a rich malty, Belgian-style ale with authentic Kriek, a classic cherry ale from Belgium, our quadruple is cultured yet wild, curious yet wise.  98% Ale – 2% Ale with Cherries added.  ABV 9.8%

 

Duvel (Belgium) – Four generations of the Moortgat family have brought together Pilsner malts, Bohemian hops, and a unique yeast strain to create this intense, aromatic and beguiling ale. This Belgian favorite is best enjoyed chilled (40 - 50 F) with discerning friends or good-looking strangers.  ABV 8.5%.

 

Saison Dupont (Belgium) - Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.  ABV 6.5%.

 

Double Bastard (California) - This is a lacerative muther of a beer. The evil big brother of Arrogant Bastard Ale. It is strongly suggested you stay far, far away from this beer. Those foolish enough to venture close enough to taste will experience a punishingly unforgiving assault on the palate. ’Course there’s always the masochists...

 

Choklat Stout (Lakewood, New York) - The Popol Vuh, the sacred book of the Maya, unfolds a complex web of mystery around a beverage known as xocoatl (ch-co-atle). At Southern Tier, we’re not surprised that hieroglyphs of the ancient Maya depict chocolate being poured for rulers and gods. Even through the many voyages of Columbus, the mystical bean remained nothing more than a strange currency of the native peoples. Moving through centuries, the circular journey of cacao has been realized in our brewing house, encompassing the complexity of the darkest, bitter-sweet candy together with the original frothy cold beverage of the ancient Maya to bring to you our Blackwater Series Choklat Stout. We have combined the finest ingredients to tempt your senses & renew the power & interrelation of history in every bottle. ABV 9.1%.

 

Rastafa Rye (Long Island, New York) -  Blue Point Brewing Company humbly honors the Rastafari and dedicates this beer to them. Our Rastafa Rye Ale marries a hearty rye malt with a blend of freshly harvested west coast hops resulting in a delicious deep copper ale, with just the right amount of rye flavor to offset the spicy and floral characteristics of the hops, RastafaRye will stay on your palate and your mind evermore.  ABV 7.5%.

 

Browns Cherry Raspberry Ale (Troy, New York) - We combine buckets of juicy whole, crushed cherries and raspberries with a sweet amber ale to craft this unique, complex and revered taste. Mild whole hop zest and fresh-fruit tartness perfectly balance this ale’s big malt character.  ABV 6.5%

 

Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA (Delaware)- This beer is the holy grail for hopheads.  This beer is continually hopped over a 120 minute boil and then dry- hopped every day for a month.  ABV 20+%.

 

Dogfish Head Palo Santo (Delaware) - An unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. The caramel and vanilla complexity unique to this beer comes from the exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood from which these tanks were crafted. Palo Santo means "holy tree" and it's wood has been used in South American wine-making communities.

 

Sam Smith Oatmeal (England) - Walnut-like color and palate of hazelnuts. Wonderful balance of roasted crystal malt and aromatic hops. Long clean finish. ABV 5.2%

 

 Hop Stoopid (California) - For those mornings when you have to cut right to the chase, this is the one. Sure to blast through just about anything still lingering from the night before, this mouthful of Hops and huge rich Malt has a gaurantee built right into the name! ABV 8.0%

 

 Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout (California) - Big, Dark and Scary Imperial-esque Stout Brewed With Plenty of Dark Malts and Roast Barley And Loads of Sebastopol’s Hardcore Coffee for Even Bigger Roasty Flavors and that Extra Krunk.
